Consider for a moment the human potential. Potential means potent, endowed
with energy. Your great power is at hand. This is about you: YOUR human potential,
YOUR unique gifts, and YOUR own path to your greatest happiness.
SO --- here is YOUR astounding apparatus, thought to be the most highly organized bit of
matter in the universe!

Like all those megabytes and gigabytes and RAM and intricate wiring in your computer:
It may sound complex, but it’s YOURS - - as much of it as you are willing to
claim and use...

SO --- here is YOUR astounding apparatus, thought to be the most highly organized bit of
matter in the universe!

It may sound complex, but it’s YOURS - - as much of it as you are willing to
claim and use...
- The human brain has 100 billion neurons and generates more electrical impulses in a single day than all the world’s telephones put together.
- It contains the capacity to memorize 10 billion bits of information during the average human lifetime, which is equal to five sets of the Encyclopedia Britannica.
- It has the capacity to make 100 trillion connections. This is greater than the number of atoms in the universe!
(Remember we’re talking connections. These are invisible, non-material impulses so of course there can be more of these than atoms.)
- With 500 terabytes, we have the equivalent of 10,000 disk drives within our brains.
- Our brains are like a 1,000,000,000-gigabyte computer, and so far we’re using only one gigabyte!
- It is not just digital, but is mostly analog. This means that it puts out a continuous signal, responds to small but meaningful fluctuations, has an infinite amount of signal resolution, and is infinitely more complex in its electrical circuitry than the digital signal.
- It is actually like two separate brains: 1. A left brain, which tests, analyzes, builds and constructs 2. A right brain, which innovates, senses, imagines, envisions and handles material for which there has been no previous experience.
- Every breakthrough, every leap forward in history, has depended on right-brain insights.
- It takes right-brain and left-brain working together to invent and construct the future.

“One of the difficulties in understanding the brain is that it is like nothing so much as a lump of porridge.” ~ Richard L. Gregory
