• The human brain has 100 billion neurons and generates more electrical impulses in a single day than all the world’s telephones put together.



• It contains the capacity to memorize 10 billion bits of information during the average human lifetime, which is equal to five sets of the Encyclopedia Britannica.

• With 500 terabytes, we have the equivalent of 10,000 disk drives within our brains.
• Our brains are like a 1,000,000,000-gigabyte computer, and so far we’re using only one gigabyte!



• It is not just digital, but is mostly analog. This means that it puts out a continuous signal, responds to small but meaningful fluctuations, has an infinite amount of signal resolution, and is infinitely more complex in its electrical circuitry than the digital signal.
• It is actually like two separate brains: 1. A left brain, which tests, analyzes, builds and constructs 2. A right brain, which innovates, senses, imagines, envisions and handles material for which there has been no previous experience.



• Every breakthrough, every leap forward in history, has depended on right-brain insights.
• It takes right-brain and left-brain working together to invent and construct the future.

There is undoubtedly so much more we don’t know about the three pounds of electrical flesh inside the skull, oozing squirts of neurotransmitter, but as a species on planet earth, we are at least gradually becoming aware of this squishy gray thing, this personal connection to the great energy field - - using it to think about it.
